A new lease of life to Pudhupettai song Oru Naalil after 14 years

Selvaraghavan recently announced that he is collaborating with his brother Dhanush for a sequel to their earlier movie Pudhupettai and writing the script for the same in the lockdown period.

Pudhupettai saw Dhanush essaying the role of Kokki Kumar, considered as one of his memorable characters and the sequel is touted as the re-emergence of the national award winner as city’s most dreaded gangster. The film has Sneha and Sonia Agarwal playing the female and Yuvan Shankar Raja scored the music. Yuvan’s music was one of the mainstays in the film.

After 14 years of its release, the makers of Pudhupettai have now put out the video song of Oru Naalil. The song rendered by Yuvan did not appear in the film and hence the team has made a video combining some of the finest scenes from the film.

This is the fifth time that the brothers are working together after films such as Thulluvatho Ilamai, Kadhal Konden, Pudhupettai, and Mayakkam Enna.
