Actress Trisha accepts Green India challenge nominated by Prakash Raj

The Green India Challenge is gaining momentum among celebrities down South and many popular personalities are encouraging their fans to be a part of the initiative. Rajya Sabha MP J Santhosh Kumar had launched the Green India Challenge as a means to create awareness among the people to plant trees and increase the green cover.  On October 1, Prakash Raj shared pictures of him planting saplings with his son Vedanth at his farmhouse in Hyderabad. He also requested actor Suriya, Trisha and Malayalam superstar Mohanlal to take part in the initiative. Thanking the minister he wrote, “Thank you @MPsantoshtrs for this initiative. i have accepted #GreenindiaChallenge from @TanikellaBharni Planted 3 saplings.Further I am nominating @Mohanlal@Suriya_offl @rakshitshetty @meramyakrishnan @trishtrashers and everyone of you too ..pls continue the chain #JustAsking

After Samantha Akkineni, Raashi Khanna, and Rashmika Mandanna, yet another star actress has taken part in the Green India Challenge.  It’s Trisha Krishnan, who was nominated by the “Gilli” Muthupandi. Taking to Twitter on Saturday, the actress posted pics of herself planting saplings. Trisha is the latest actress to take part in the Green India Challenge, that is going viral among celebrities and politicians. On Saturday, Trisha took to Twitter to share a photo of herself with a plant sapling and further appealed her fans to participate in the Green India challenge and spread the green cover. Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Trisha shared a picture of her planting saplings and wrote, “I accepted the #GreenIndiaChallenge and planted two saplings today. I request you all to do your bit and help towards a greener India.”
