AP government’s greatest honour to late singer SP Balasubramaniam
For contribution to the entertainment industry, Andhra Government has decided to honor late singer SP Balasubrahmanyan by renaming Government School of Music & Dance in Nellore as ‘Dr. S P Balasubramanyam Government School of Music & Dance’. Incidentally, SPB was born and brought up in Nellore. In February this year, SPB donated his ancestral home in Nellore to Kanchi Math. The celebrated singer’s son Charan thanked the Andhra Government and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for this honor. Previously, a dubbing studio in Chennai was named ‘SPB’ which was recently inaugurated by actor Radha Ravi.
