Dhivya Duraisami to have a crack at the big screen with actor Jai

After Priya Bhavani Shankar and Vani Bhojan who made quite successful transformations from television to the big screen, buzz is that yet another news reader Dhivya Duraisami from Thandhi TV is making her foray into tinsel town. Yes, according to close sources, Dhivya has been roped in to play the onscreen pair of Jai for a film, which is directed by award winning filmmaker Suseenthiran.

And after his Pandianaadu and Kennedy Club, Susee is once again bringing ace Bharathiraja for a crucial role in the film. Popular cinematographer / director Velraj will be cranking the camera.

The Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu director met with a freak accident in late January and was resting at home. Later, when the Covid-19 pandemic struck and lockdown was announced, Susee had been spending his time with the family at his native place. According to sources, the filmmaker has readied a script utilizing the quarantine time. He has plans to begin the shoot once the state comes to normalcy from this lockdown.

Jai was last seen in veteran SA Chandrashekar’s Capemaari , an adult content film starring Athulya and Vaibhavi Chandilya.
