“Kuthirai Vaal” teaser leaves the audience mystified

PA. Ranjith, formerly credited with directing and producing hits in the south film industry, will be.presenting another venture after Pariyerum Perumal and Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu. He recently presented the film Kuthirai Vaal, which will be based on the genre of magical realism. The film will star actor Kalaiyarasan in the lead role, essaying the middle ground between magic and reality. PA. Ranjith’s movie poster also showcased some of the ‘magic’. The film is produced by Vignesh Sundaresan under Neelam Productions and Yaazhi films banner. The poster showcases lead actor Kalaiyarasan in a dashing avatar and many fans have mentioned they can’t wait for the film to release. The film is directed by Manoj Leonel Jahson and Shyam Sunder. 

Meanwhile, the teaser of ‘Kuthirai Vaal’ was unveiled yesterday. The teaser carried several mystic elements and was well received by the audience. However, the comments section was bombarded with comments after watching the teaser. The reason behind is that the teaser totally shows a different genre than expected, so several questions have popped up among the netizens whether the film is a political thriller or a science fiction or Magic realism. The directors responded, “The film will definitely be a new experience. This is a different endeavor. Thanks to Pa. Ranjith Sir for his support.” The film is expected to hit the screens once the theatres are reopened.
