“Please don’t compare Mahesh Babu and Vijay”- Actor Vivek's request to fans

The Green India Challenge initiated by Rajya Sabha MP Santosh Kumar has inspired a large number of celebrities to take up the challenge. The initiative was trended at number two place for many hours on social media platform Twitter after Tamil Super Star Vijay planted saplings at his residence in Chennai on Tuesday.

While many celebrities have been taking up the challenge to expand the green cover, actor Mahesh Babu who had a low key birthday quarantine birthday celebration participated in the Green India Challenge on his birthday and further nominated actor Vijay, Shruti Hassan and Junior NTR. Sharing an image of planting the sapling, the actor wrote “There couldn’t be a better way to celebrate my birthday #GreenIndiaChallenge. I pass this on to @tarak9999, @actorvijay & @shrutihaasan. Let the chain continue and transcend boundaries. I request all of you to support the cause. One step towards a greener world!.”

Actor Vijay who says away from limelight off-screen is known to keep his personal life close to his chest. The actor who doesn’t get caught in the cross hairs of digital media attention joined the bandwagon while nominated by his peer and shared a few pictures of himself planting a sapling. Sharing the pictures, Ilayathapathy tweeted, “This is for your @urstrulyMahesh garu. Here’s to a greener India and good health. Thank you.”

But the fans of the actors have been causing a stir by comparing the two actors and actor Vivek requested the fans not to compare the two stars and wrote, “Both mahesh Babu sir n our Vijay sir have millions of fans. When they do some thing good for nature, all their fans will b inspired to follow it n do good. We should appreciate this. Plz don’t ever compare one with another. Our ultimate aim is a greener earth.”
