Saif and Kareena share about lockdown pregnancy

Bollywood star couple Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan announced that they are expecting their second child. The couple tied the knot in October 2012, and are parents to a 3-year-old son, Taimur Ali Khan. Announcing the news, they released a joint statement.

Kareena and Saif wrote in their statement, “We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family!! Thank you to all our well wishers for all their love and support. — Saif and Kareena.”

Lately, a lot of people have been announcing lockdown pregnancies, which has led to the coining of a new term – Coronials. And Saif and Kareena’s baby will also be a coronial.

Coronial is the term, which is being assigned to the generation who will be conceived during the coronavirus quarantine period.

According to Urban Dictionary, kids who were conceived during the quarantine due to Covid-19 pandemic, are known as coronials. Most of these babies will be born between December 2020 and 2021 spring. They may also be referred to as Covid-kids.
