Shruti and Akshara to feature in Don’t Breathe remake? Maybe, Maybe not

A report was making its merry rounds that Hassan sisters – Shruti and Akshara will be sharing screen space which is a south remake of Hollywood hit Don’t Breathe. Buzz was also that Chiyaan Vikram would be seen portraying a key character in the remake. This garnered a lot of attention and created curiosity among the audiences.

Don’t Breathe is an American horror film produced and directed by Fede Álvarez, released in 2016. The film focuses on three friends who get trapped inside a blind ex military man’s house while breaking into it.

Now, reliable reports suggest that neither Shruti nor Akshara have been approached to star in the south remake of the Hollywood film. Shruti is super active on Instagram posting her interesting stories during lockdown. Her upcoming film includes Laabam with Vijay Sethupathi and Telugu film Krack with Ravi Teja.
