Tears of joy ran across the fans as they met the ultimate star on the sets of ‘Valimai’
Actor Ajith Kumar is beyond any doubt, one of the biggest and most celebrated stars in the Tamil film industry. The undisputed ‘Ultimate Star’ of Kollywood is loved by one and all due to his grand reel image, unique dialogue delivery and impressive selection of roles. He has starred in several well-received blockbusters–right from Mankatha to the Pongal sensation Viswasam and proved that his box office stamina is second to none. Ajith has now turned his attention to the eagerly-awaited Valimai, and has resumed shoot yesterday, post pandemic. The movie has created a fair deal of buzz among fans for a variety of reasons and this suggests that it has the potential to be e a major player at the box office.
Touted to be an action-packed thriller, filming is currently underway at Ramojirao Film City in Hyderabad. Fans gathered at the sets to eagerly meet the ultimate star. Ajith took photos with the fans. Ajith, outside his caravan, took some pictures with them and interacted with his fans. The photos went viral on social media. Tears of joy came to the fans who saw Ajith fit in the photos. Fans who were left awestruck with Ajith’s transformation said, “The fitness of the Thala is at a different level. Looking at those photos I remember what Vivek said in the movie Alwar. Vivek was right when he said that Ajith can increase or decrease weight whenever he want.” Moreover, a fan has found a scare on the forearm of Ajith’s left hand and is wondering about the injury. It is worth noting that Ajith was injured while shooting for a bike stunt earlier in March.
It is reported that the makers of Valimai might wrap up the film’s shoot with this schedule. The last leg of shooting is expected to go on for 15 days with Ajith, Kartikeya Gummakonda and Huma Qureshi. Earlier, the makers had planned to shoot the film in Delhi, but there were permission issues because of which the shooting was shifted to Hyderabad. Some important confrontation scenes will be shot in the final schedule. Apart from Ajith, ‘Valimai’ also has Huma Qureshi and Karthikeyan in crucial roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music for the film, while the cinematography is handled by Nirav Shah. The film is bankrolled by Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP in association with Zee Studios.
