“Dad is awaiting to leave the hospital” – SP Charan’s health update on the legendary playback singer

Veteran singer  SP Balasubramaniam, who is currently being treated for COVID-19 at a Chennai hospital, is awaiting to head back home at the earliest.  The singer, 74, was admitted to Chennai’s MGM Healthcare hospital on August 5 after he tested positive for the virus. S P Balasubramaniam had mild symptoms when he was taken to hospital this month. However, he was later moved to the Intensive Care Unit or ICU and placed on life support  after his condition deteriorated. Meanwhile, the legend’s son SP Charan has actively been sharing updates about the singer’s health on his Instagram account.

Singer-actor SP Balasubramaniam’s son SP Charan on Saturday took to his social media accounts to share an update about his father’s health. In the video, SP Charan said that SPB “continues to be stable” and “on ventilator.”The filmmaker informed fans that SPB’s “parameters are normal. There is no infection. His saturation levels are good.”

Filmmaker SP Charan on Tuesday took to his Instagram stories to share an update about his father SP Balasubramaniam’s health. He informed fans that the singer-actor “continues the steady progress toward getting better.” Charan added that SPB is “eager to leave the hospital as early as possible.”In this note, SP Charan wrote, “#spb health update 22/9/20… Dad continues steady progress toward getting better. ECMO/ventilator, physiotherapy continue with oral intake of liquids. He’s been eager to leave the hospital as early as possible.”
