Actress Kasthuri enters small screen with ‘Agni Natchathiram’

Started her journey with Miss Madras and later entered the film industry, Kasthuri Shankar acted in various films in Telugu and Tamil industry and created her own unique identity. Actress Kasthuri was on top of the world when she made her debut in the Tamil film in the year 1991 and has been a successful star till 2003.But, she went out of the public eye for 15 years, only to return now a decade later entered tinsel town in 2010 with a Tamil film in a very unconventional role and became a trendsetter with her item number. Although away from films, the actress remains active in social media and has been voicing over her opinion on social issues. Kasthuri also tried her luck in the controversial TV show, Bigg Boss and entered the house as a wild card contestant in the third season. However, after a gap of few years, this tall and slender actress is making her comeback with small screen in ‘Agni Natchathiram’ and will essay the role of Rudra.
