“96” fame lyricist Karthik Netha welcomes a new addition to the family

Lyricist Karthik Netha has been in the industry for several years now, but he shot to limelight with his recent work in 96. The chartbuster song Anthathi from Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha-starrer 96 became an instant favourite and is regarded as one of the best songs in 2018.

He is best known for his work in movies Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah, Nedunchalai, Monster, Dear Comrade and many more. Hailing from Salem, the lyricist started his career as an assistant of the eminent lyricist N. Muthukumar for over 5 years. On personal front, the lyricist is married to Geetha and reportedly the couple has been blessed with a bundle of joy and the couple have embraced parenthood. It is worth mentioning, that few years ago, in one of the interviews, Karthik said that Sara Sara Sarakaathu song from Vaagai Sooda Vaa was written by him, but was credited to lyricist Vairamuthu.
