Actor Vimal to join hands with Makkal Selvan in “Kulasami”

Actor Vimal who was last seen in Kalavani 2, has been one f the busiest actor in Kollywood with more than a dozen of movies in the pipeline. The actor who shares a bond with makkal selvan even before the duo became popular is all set to join hands together in the upcoming movie. Interestingly, Vijay Sethupathi will be penning the dialogues and scene play for the film. On completion of a decade long career in showbiz, in an interview with a popular media, Vimal revealed, “I have currently signed the films ‘Engal Pattan Soththu’, ‘Sandakaari’, ‘Manjal Kudai’, ‘Kanni Raasi’, ‘Lucky’, and ‘Thudikarangal’, while the first three are nearing completion. Shriya Saran plays as my pair in ‘Sandakari’, and I am happy to share the screen space with veteran actress KR Vijaya in the film. There is also one more film “Kulasami”, which is in pre-production stage, in which Vijay Sethupathi will be doing a never-seen-before avatar. Vijay Sethupathi will be taking care of the dialogues and screenplay for the film.”

Vijay Sethupathi, has previously written dialogues for Orange Mittai and Chennai Palani Mars. The film which was on the pre-pproduction stage is now all set to go on floors from October 16. Saravanasakthi, who has previously written and directed Vijay Sethupathi’s Orange Candy and Chennai Palani Mars, will direct the film. Vijay Sethupathi has a string of films in different languages needing his attention. His latest venture Ka Pae Ranasingam has been a great success and the actor has Kadaisi Vivasayi, Maamanithan, Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir, Laal Singh Chaddha, 800, Tughlaq Durbar and Vignesh Shivan’s Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal and Hindi remake of Maanagaram in the making.
