Dubbing Union inaugurates a dubbing studio to be named after SPB

It is never easy to convert music and melody to words. One is universal, the latter, limited. Arguably among the all-time greats of playback music his range made the man and his variety his trademark. Born on June 4, 1946, Sripathi Panditaradhyula Balasubramaniam sure has unmatched reach. Many admire his persona and see him as a singer but he is larger than life. Singer par excellence apart, he is a music director, actor, dubbing artiste.

There is no end to the maverick acts pulled off by legendary singer S P Balasubramaniam. Even when SPB talks, he seems to sing. In whatever language you’ve heard him, and whatever kind of song you love him for, there’s no way you wouldn’t have heard the legend’s track if you are an Indian. Apart from his rendered to the tunes of the music directors , SPB can easily handle English, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada. He is also an accomplished dubbing artist. He has lend his voice to Rajnikanth, Kamal Haasan, Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Girish Karnad, Geimini Ganeshan, and Arjun. 

While people and communities across the nation has been pulling off their efforts to honour the legendary playback singer, the dubbing Union has announced that a new dubbing studio will be named after the singer. The meeting of the members that was presided over by President of Dubbing Union Radharavi has decided to name a new dubbing studio after SPB, who is a lifetime member of the Dubbing Union. Radharavi has announced that to honour SPB, Dubbing Union has decided a new dubbing studio will be inaugurated soon in the memory of SPB.
