Jayam Ravi and Tamannah unveils the intense first look poster of “Boomika”
Actor Jayam Ravi and Tamanna unveiled the first look of ‘Boomika’ starring Aishwarya Rajesh. The 25th film of the dusky beauty will be helmed by Rathindran R Prasad and the film is being produced by Karthik Subburaj under his home banner Stone Bench Productions. Italian cinematographer Roberto Sassara will crank the camera and Prithvi Chandrasekhar has composed the music. The poster features Aishwarya Rajessh striking an intense look, as the actor can be seen covered with leaves and branches from head-to-toe, in what appears to be a forest.

Commenting on the film, director Rathindran R Prasada said:
On behalf of our film crew, I would like to thank actor Jayamravi for releasing the first look of the film with great simplicity. When we first planned to release the first look of the film we thought it would be nice if the film personality could release the poster. When actor Jayam Ravi was approached, he immediately agreed without any hesitation and released the first look of our film.
Rathindran, who made heads turn with the teaser of his yet-to-be-released Idhu Vedhalam Sollum Kadhai, reveals that the film happens in a single night and Aishwarya plays a psychologist in it. “Boomika is a complete contrast to IVSK. While the latter happens over a thousand years and has been shot across the country, the former involves just seven main characters and happens in a night,” he says, adding, “I don’t want to reveal the genre of the film. I want to break it to the audience as they watch it.”
Speaking further about the film, “Boomika” is a thriller film with deep emotions, with many unexpected twists. Personally, Aishwarya Rajesh’s impressive performance gave me great satisfaction. She participated in the film from the very beginning, with great enthusiasm and intense commitment. But even then actress Aishwarya Rajesh gave a fantastic performance in every shot with hard work and dedication. Stone Bench Films has made a name for itself in Tamil cinema with its consistent quality films. I am very happy to have the opportunity to work with them on this film. We as a whole will give this film as a masterpiece in hard work. The film will definitely get the label of a quality film from this production company.” Rathindran says the release platform of Boomika has not been finalised yet. “The production house is yet to take a call on whether the film is apt for an OTT release or if they want to hold it till the theatres reopen.”
