Ka Pae Ranasingam director shares an emotional note upon the success of the film
KJR Studios recently released the Tamil film Ka Pae Ranasingam on Zee5 as a pay-per-view film. Priced at Rs 199, this is the first major south Indian film to opt for such a release since the coronavirus pandemic brought the film industry to a standstill. This female-centric movie is totally owned by the brilliant Aishwarya Rajesh as was intended when it began production on a shoestring budget and Ka Pae Ranasigham also features actor Vijay Sethuapthi in a cameo role. The movie also features actors like Samuthirakani, Bhavani Sre, Rangaraj Pandey, among others in prominent roles.
The film will be available to watch in five Indian languages, and will be subtitled in over 10 international languages. The film released in Tamil on October 2nd has been receiving positive reviews across all quarters and the film has been dubbed and released in other languages today. Upon the success of the film, the director shared an emotional note thanking the crew members for their support.
His statement read, “Greetings to all my friends in the press and media! I have worked as an assistant of Mr. Selva in many films. I have currently written and directed Ka / Pae Ranasingam, a film produced by KJR studios Kottapadi J. Rajesh and the film stars Selvan Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh. The film was released on the DTH site ZEE PLEX and the OTT site ZEE5 on the 2nd and has received great response from people all over the world. Following this it will be released today (09-10-2020) in languages including Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. My heartfelt thanks to the fans who made it a huge success in Tamil and to all the press and media friends who brought it to the people. I owe my heartfelt thanks to my father Kalaimamani Periyakaruppathevar, mother Annamayil, my wife Selvi, my co-brothers Karthik, Balpandi, Gopalakrishnan and all my family members who supported me during all odds in my life.”
