Lady Superstar to star in Rambo Rajkumar son’s directorial debut

The lady superstar is all set to star in stunt master Rambo Rajkumar son Navakanth’s directorial debut. Nayanthara has attained superstardom in the Tamil film industry. She has regularly been acting in heroine-centric films in Tamil. She recently has acted in a Tamil film titled ‘Mookuthi Amman’. The film was scheduled for release in May this year, and the makers are now in talks with the OTT platforms and will skip the theatrical release. The latest buzz is that Disney+ Hotstar has bagged the film’s direct OTT rights and is planning to premiere it on Diwali 2020. 

Rambo Rajkumar was a famous stunt choreographer, who worked in over 100 films across all the regional languages. The talented stuntman breathed his last at the age of 53 in 2009, and his father TK Parameshwar was also a stuntman. Many popular stuntmen including Kanal Kannan, Stun Siva, Peter Hein, Stunt Silva, and Thalapathy Dinesh are the proteage of Rambo Rajkumar. Navakanth who has helmed short films will be making his first feature film with Nayanthara. The lady superstar has modded a yes to the action drama. However, there is no official news from the makers. Meanwhile, Nayanthara who was last seen in Darbar has Mookuthi Amman and Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal in the pipeline.
