Vikram to join hands with his on-screen daughter Sara Arjun again ?

Magnum opus epic periodic flick Ponniyin Selvan helmed by ace director Manirathnam has an ensemble star-studded cast including Vikra, Karthi, Jeyam Ravi, Jayaram, Aishwarya Rai, Keerthy Suresh, and Trisha. Ponniyin Selvan has music scored by AR Rahman and is bankrolled by Lyca productions and Madra Talkies.It is a fiction drama which is an adaptation of Kalki Krishnamurthy’s historical period based Tamil literary novel of the same name about the life of Raja Raja Chozhan I. Mani Ratnam has also revealed the names of the crew members in the project such as Sreekar Prasad for editing, Ravi Varman for cinematography, Thotta Tharani for production design, Jeyamohan for dialogues, Eka Lakhani for costumes, Vikram Gaikwad for makeup, master Brinda for choreography and so on.

While the first schedule was held at a set erected in Thailand, the shoot of the director’s ambitious film was progressing at a brisk pace in Ramoji Rao Film City, Hyderabad prior COVID outbreak. However, the novel coronavirus outbreak has brought their work to halt. However the shoot is said to be resumed from September 2020. The latest buzz is that Baby Sarah has joined the crew of the much anticipated periodic film.

 
For the unversed, Sara Arjun faced the camera for the first time when she was one and a half years old. She won critical acclaim and went straight into movie lovers hearts by her towering performance as Nila in A.L.Vijay’s Deivathirumagal’ starring Vikram, Anushka and Amala Paul in lead roles. The adorable artist has recently received accolades for her performance in “Sillu Karupatti”.
