“My guru is back in action” – RK Suresh enjoys being on set with director Bala

Malayalam actor Joju George’s hit film ‘Joseph’ is getting remade in Tamil. M Padmakumar, who directed the original film in Malayalam, is helming the Tamil version as well. Producer-turned-actor RK Suresh is reprising the lead role played by Joju. Shamna Kasim aka Poorna and Madhu Shalini will be seen as the female leads. The Tamil remake has been titled as ‘Visithran’.

The Tamil version ‘Visithran’ has its screenplay adapted by John Mahendran, the director of Thalapathy Vijay’s much-loved film ‘Sachien’. GV Prakash is handling the music department. Vetrivel Mahendran is the DOP. Multiple national-award winning filmmaker Bala is producing the film. Bala, who has been away from film work for a long time, has now resumed filming. Producer RK Suresh has released a photo of himself participating in the filming. “My guru is back in action,” he said. In the photo you can see Bala and Suresh on the sets of ‘Visithiran.’ 

A few days ago, Suresh said he was grateful to work with Bala and Padmakumar and informed that he would be trying three different voices for the film. Tagging composer GV Prakash, Madhu Shalini and Poorna, he tweeted, “Visithiran dubbing in progress! Very grateful for the awesome opportunity to work with the amazing Director #Padmakumar sir &producer @Bala sir. First time trying 3 different voices, enjoying the new experiences!”
