“My life is in danger” – Director Seenu Ramasamy seeks help from CM

Director Seenu Ramasamy has alleged that his life is in danger and this has caused a stir among the netizens. The National award winning director is one of the most versatile film maker in Kollywood who introduced Makkal Selvan into the tinsel town. Vijay Sethupathi  made his debut in ‘Thenmerku Paruvakaatru’, and worked under Seenu Ramasamy’s direction in the films’Dharmadurai’, ‘Idam Porul Yaeval’, and ‘Maamanithan’.

Apart from the films with Vijay Sethupathi, the director has also helmed critically acclaimed films including Koodal Nagar, Neerparavai, Kanne Kalaimane. The director has two films Mamanithan and Idam Porul Eval, which is been awaiting for its release once the theatre reopens.  Seenu Ramasamy is an ardent social media user and always voices over his opinion on social issues.

The director tweeted that his is in danger and he has requested CM to extend his help to protect him. He has alleged that his life is under threat and those abusing and threatening him is trying to create enmity between him and Vijay Sethupathi. Apparently this has all begun when the director just like other Tamilians, requested Vijay Sethupathi to step back from Muthiah Muralidharan’s biopic. Citing that he and Vijay Sethupathi share a great rapport he said, he contacted the actor after he tweeted, Nandri, Vanakkam, and Vijay Sethupathi said that though he liked the story he was opting out considering the emotions attached to the project.
