Prabhu clears airs on rumours to skip the memorial event of Shivaji Ganesan

On the 92nd birth anniversary of Sivaji Ganesan, several actors paid tribute to the stellar actor. Nadigar Thilagam was remembered by many members of the film industry including Kamal Hassan, Radhika, Chiranjeevi and several other ace actors who shared his fond memories with the iconic star. Just like every other year, the celebration of the birth anniversary of the legend was organised at his residence at T.Nagar. PDeputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam , Fisheries Minister D Jayakumar, Rural Industries Minister Benjamin, Tamil Development Minister K Pandiarajan and others visited Sivaji memorial in Chennai and paid floral tributes.

Prabhu skipped the memorial event organized during his father and legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan’s birth anniversary and it triggered speculations that he was under quarantine and he might have been infected by Coronavirus. He stated that he slipped while walking in a muddy place and twisted his ankle. As he had some trouble walking, he did not take part in the event thinking that it may create anxiety among the fans.

Nadigar Thilagam was known for movies like Thevar Magan, Veerapandiya Kattabomman, Gnana Oli, Gauravam, Muthal Mariyathal, Deivar Magan, and Vietnam Veedu among many others. On the birth anniversary of Sivaji Ganeshan, many celebs shared tweets and posts on social media remembering fond memories with the late actor. His grandson actor Vikram Prabhu also shared the painting of the veteran actor while writing adorable captions in his tweet. Actor Kamal shared a picture of himself and remembered his fond memories with the star. In the photo, young Kamal donning a rugged look shares frame with the legendary star who can be seen smiling warmly. With the photo, Kamal reminded fans how Ganesan is yet alive in the form of his characters in the minds of many generations of Tamil actors and that his legacy can never be forgotten.
