Santhanam donning in three looks in “Biskoth”

The comedian, who is always part of an ensemble cast, made his mark as a lead actor in the blockbuster film Inimey Ippadithan. He sidelined the role of a comedian and had been performing as a lead in recent years. Santhanam is gearing up for the release of his upcoming comedy flick titled “Biskoth”.

It is one of the first few films that resumed post-production work after the Covid-19 crisis threw production schedules haywire. In an official statement, the makers had confirmed that the story of Biskoth revolves around a guy who works in a biscuit company and how he ends up owning it. The makers also revealed that 30 minutes of the film is set on a 18th century and Santhanam will essay the role of a king.

The film is helmed by R.Kannan starring Santhanm in the lead and Tara Alisha Berry and Swathi Muppala making her Tamil debut are playing the female leads. With music by Arjun Reddy fame Radhan, cinematography by Shanmugasundaram of 96-fam, Biskoth also stars Anandhraj, Rajendran, Aadukalam Naren, and Lollu Sabha Manohar in key roles. Legendary actress Sowcar Janaki, who has acted in multiple languages with the likes of NTR, MGR, Sivaji, Rajini and Kamal, has been roped in for a crucial comical role. Incidentally, this is Sowcar Janaki’s 400th film.

Santhanam was last seen in Dagaalty and has sci-fi film Dikkiloona, in which he will be playing triple roles for the first time , and the much delayed Server Sundaram in the pipeline.
