Actress Saranya Ponvannan, who will be playing the lead role in the upcoming film ‘Aruva Chanda’, shared her experiences of working in the film. The versatile actress said, “It is very rare for a character actress like me to make a film like this, and in recent times it is the only film that I have agreed to act in as soon as I heard the story. I felt in this film the same experience of starring with Vijay Sethupathi in the film Merkku Thodarchi Malai. In this too the protagonist’s brother, V.Raja is new but it does not feels that way and his acting was way better suited for that role.”

She further added, “It’s a great storyline, and even when I was mouthing my dialogues for dubbing, I had an emotional climax scenes in the film that tears rolled down my eyes. Congratulations to brother V.Raja who bravely produced such a socio-centric film and played the role of my son, the protagonist of the story, and I wish him to produce and act in many more socially concerned films.”

Lyricist Vairamuthu, who has penned down the lyrics for the songs in “Aruva Sanda” is sure to further strengthen the movie with the powerful lyrics. The lyricist said, “ It is a miracle that such vibrant youth are coming to make cinema in today’s era. But brother V.Raja is a Tamilian, I am proud of him for producing and becoming the protagonist of the story. I have written songs for this film and all of them are well located.He has made the film as an end to the caste-based massacre of the social revolution. Congratulations to this Tamilian.”

Helmed by Adirajan, the film is certified ‘U’ by the censors and is in the final stages of production. Malvika Menon has played the female lead. Taran has composed music for Vairamuthu’s lyrics The cinematography is by Santosh Pandey, the editing is by V.J. Sabu Joseph, the art is by Suresh College, the stunt is by Dinesh, and the dance is by Deena Master and Radhika Master. The film is produced by V. Raja under the banner of White Screen Productions and is awaiting  for a theatrical release.
