Yogi Babu’s “Pei Mama” first look poster unveiled by Makkal Selvan

Yogi Babu’s first look poster of horror comedy flick “Pei Mama” unveiled. Helmed by Sakthi Chidambaram, the film has an array of comedians and the ensemble cast includes Reshma, Ramesh Kanna, Iman Annachi, Vaiyapuri among others. Director Shakthi Chidambaram has directed many films including Charlie Chaplin, Englishman, Kovai Brothers, Sanda. The director’s last venture Charlie Chaplin 2 starring Prabhu deva and Nikki Galrani received a lukewarm response. 

During its inception veteran comedian Vadivelu was casted as the lead for “Pei Mama” and later the makers said, “Vadivelu does not want to be part of this project as he had creative differences with the makers. An official announcement will be made soon regarding the same. Vadivelu was also in the news for his differences with the makers of Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi during several occasions of shoot. He was even accused of his intervention in every department of the film, forcing the makers to drop the project.”

As the actor was stuck in the agreement dispute with team “Imasai Arasan 24am Pulikesi”, Yogi Babu was replaced byVadivelu in a horror comedy film ‘Pei Mama’.  The entire shooting of the film took place in Kumuli near Thenu. The film is currently in the final stages of production and is gearing up for its release. Actor Vijay Sethupathi took to his twitter handle today to unveil the first look poster of “Pei Mama” and congratulated the team on the new venture.
