Actor Kalaiyarasan who made his debut in Mysskin’s “Nandalala” has six films at various stages of production, and clearly has no “after hours” at present. The actor rose to fame with his performance as Anbu in P.Ranjith’s “Madras”. Kalaiyarasan’s role was critically acclaimed and the actor went on to play the lead in more than a dozen of films but however, the movies either received a lukewarm response or bombed at the box office. The actor is going through a rough phase in his career as his last couple of films failed to perform well at the box office. The actor has pinned all his hopes on his upcoming film, Salpetta, which is geared up to the hit the theatres post lockdown. The movie went on floors today after the lockdown and Kaialyarasan was spotted with his beefed up look with Arya at the gym. The sports drama helmed by P.Ranjith has Arya and Dushara in the lead roles. Apart from this, the actor who was seen playing an army veteran in “Airaa” will soon be growing a tail for P.Ranjith’s next production venture titled “Kuthiraivaal”, a fantasy drama to explore the concept of magical realism.

Dinesh, the administrator of Kalaiyarasan fan club at Pondicherry is undergoing treatment for a respiratory disorder and Kalaiyarasan visited the fans at his residence and wished him speedy recovery and also provided financial assistance and has given his word to arrange for a better treatment at Chennai city. The actor’s kindness is been hailed by his fanfare.
