Sanjana Natarajan plays Dhanush’s wife in JT

Sanjana Natarajan has appeared in small roles in films like Irudhi Suttru, Nota, Game Over and 2.o. She came to prominence with her stint in Balaji Mohan’s web series As I am Suffering From Kadhal.

We all know that while Aishwarya Lekshmi is the lead heroine in the film, Sanjana is also part of Dhanush’s upcoming gangster action entertainer Jagame Thandhiram in Karthik Subbaraj’s direction.  Though her character in the film was kept under wraps, a close production source let the cat out! Yes, Sanjana will be seen essaying the national award winner’s wife in the village portions. Yes, the source adds that she plays Dhanush’s wife in the flashback episodes shot in Madurai.  And she also got the chance to shake her legs with Dhanush known for his dancing prowess in the first song of the film Rakita Rakita. Aishwarya appears in the UK portions of JT.

According to the buzz, JT revolves around a gangster in London played by Hollywood actor James Cosmo, who brings a Tamil gangster Dhanush to counter the Indian gangsters in London, but eventually the latter takes over.

Sashikanth of Y Not Studios and Reliance Entertainment bankrolled the film.
