Time disappears but Sridevi doesn't
Three years after the release of the film Mom (2017,) Boney Kapoor, producer and husband of the late actress Sridevi, made a heartfelt tweet recollecting the memory of her performance in the film. He said, “How time flies…..it’s 3 years since the release of Mom. Will always be remembered for the National award winning performance of @SrideviBKapoor..”

In an illustrious career spanning more than 50 years in Indian cinema, Mom marked Sridevi’s 300th film. In it, she played a mom who is out to get revenge on those who had raped her daughter. The character was an inspired role as Sridevi was a mom of two daughters in her real life. She went on to dub the Tamil version herself.
Being a huge AR Rahman fan, Sridevi insisted that the maestro do the score for the film, as such serious content would demand passionate music. Of course her premonitions proved correct!
