Today is the 44th birthday of the famous actress Soundharya who died in a plane crash on 17th April 2004.
Kannada actress Soundharya made her Tamil cinema debut with the hero Karthi’s ‘Ponnumani’. She has acted in all South Indian languages like Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Also, she acted in a few films in Hindi too.

Born on July 18, 1976, in Mulabagilu, Kolar district of Karnataka, Soundharya made her film debut in the 1992 Kannada film ‘Gandharva’. She started acting in Kannada and Telugu and made her debut in Tamil and became popular here. Fans are still remembering her memories, even in her absence today.

She has acted with Popular heroes such as Kamal, Rajini, Nagarjuna, Arjun, Mohanlal, Jayaram, and with many actors. The movie ‘Aptamitra’, the Kannada version of ‘Chandramukhi’, was released shortly after her death.

Soundharya has starred in 107 films and joined as the BJP’s spokesperson. Actress Soundharya and her brother Amarnath tragically died in a plane crash near Bangalore on April 17, 2004. The entire Indian film industry was deeply saddened by the news of the death of actress Soundharya at the age of 27.
